Am I the only one who thinks RSS in email is a bad idea?

"RSS in mail makes perfect sense for a few reasons: 1) people already spend a lot of time in their Mail experience, why shouldnt personally relevant content be there too..."

I subscribe to about 30 feeds (and counting). The thought of crowding my already crowded inbox with extraneous content seems like a nightmare. I'm all for "bringing RSS to the masses", but let's do it by educating people, not dumbing things down.

I doubt you're the only one, but I kinda liked having my feeds delivered straight to my Outlook inbox via the YouSubscribe aggregator. I run Outlook all day anyway, so why install another application? I wound up ditching YouSubscribe because it seemed to be a real RAM hog. I'm now a Bloglines subscriber.
