Association newsletter tips
Nice post from Mike Mason on ways to improve your association's printed newsletter. Though, most of the tips work for e-newsletters as well...which are not being replaced by blogging (as Mike suggests)...are they? I think you'd be hard-pressed to find an association that's abandoning e-newsletters completely for blogging...at least right now; spamming emailing members is just too profitable.

How cynical of you! Yes, there's money to be made in spamming the members -- in the short run. Moving from e-newsletters to blogs would be good for everyone. It's just not happening yet.
Sorry, Mike, I should have clarified - because I'm with you 100%. I definitely keep better track of blog posts and RSS feeds than all the e-newsletters I get.
