April 2008 Edition
This month we cover a successful website launch, an event we attended last month, a new CMS feature and a customer support case study.
Gulo Helps PEW Website Become a Viral Success

2008 NTEN Conference Wrapup
Last Month, we headed down to New Orleans for the 2008 Nonprofit Technology Conference. It
was a great time. We saw David Pogue preform the iPhone song (and tell us about GrandCentral), learned some great Google Analytics tricks and got to tell people about our CMS at the Science Fair. Thanks to NTEN and the City
of New Orleans for being fantastic hosts. See you next year in San
Francisco!
NEW CMS Feature - SEO-friendly URLS
We recently improved the way our content management system creates
web addresses. All published pages now have human-readable or "hackable" URLs
(i.e. yoursite.org/about/executive-director/bio). Fantastic for Search
Engine Optimization (SEO), this method also improves usability by
creating a natural breadcrumb for users to reference when navigating
the site.

ASN impressed with Gulo Support
The American Society for Nutrition launched a new website recently powered by Re:Members, our content management system. Paula Eichenbrenner, Director of Marketing and Development, recently gave our work high marks:
"The CMS is easy to use and expert support is only one "feedback" click away. When I encounter web issues that are beyond my capacity, I simply complete the feedback form embedded in the CMS and Gulo staff members promptly address my requests - whether I have a general question, a complex chart to upload, or otherwise need support to achieve my website goals."
Thanks Paula! Our Blog
