Check. Check. How are your vitals? Having a fast site with an amazing user experience is essential today. Users no longer have the patience for slow, poorly behaving sites. As such, Google uses these as metrics to evaluate SERP rankings. To help marketers focus on these, Google Search Console provided us with a new tool that allows us to monitor for user-experience and speed-related issues.

Queue Core Vitals Report

The report is based on three metrics:

LCP or largest contentful paint, which is the amount of time to render the largest content element visible on your viewport. This is typically an image or video, or perhaps a large block of text.

FID or first input delay, is the time from when a user first interacts with your page to the time when the browser responds to that interaction.

CLS or Cumulative Layout Shift, measures the amount that the page layout shifts during the loading phase.

Use Google Search Consoles Core Web Vitals report to ensure your property does not have any of these issues.

I enjoy reading & writing about the web and digital marketing. My day-to-day focuses on ensuring our clients have big wins. That begins with extraordinary website design and UX. The real exciting stuff is helping develop strategies to drive traffic (on-site page optimization) and help conversion rate optimization (getting new sales and / or customers). With all my “other” time, I enjoy exploring new adventures with my 3 daughters and wife.
