Anyone else completely underwhelmed by the new Technorati layout? I think it’s awful. It’s almost as if they tried to include everything corny about Web 2.0 in the new design (gradients, pastels, unnecessary icons).

I’m not a big fan of the new features and layout either. The search box is smaller and no longer the focus of the page. The “discover” section looks promising, but overall there are too many options for a blog search site. It’s a freakin’ portal now… another page for me to customize and fill up with personalized content. No thanks!
